I was sitting enjoying some rare sun the other morning when three people worked past. I immediately recognised them as “horsey” people, by that I mean their clothes told me they liked horses, owned horses, or had just been riding.
We all wear uniforms of one sort or another, so who do you look like? Are you a horsey person, a sporty person, a surfer, a dog person, a business person, a builder or a student?
What judgements do you make about other people and how they are dressed – is it important to you?
What does the way you dress say about you, or rather what would you like it to say about you 🙂
Have you thought about what other people see when they look at you – what judgements they make and whether they are right? I wrote a blog on curly or straight? Does personal branding matter and this is a variation on a theme. While it is vital to be confident and be yourself – it is also important to meet your customers’ expectations of how you look …… or is it?
